    The unique design of these housings incorporates two filtration technologies in one. Fluid enters a tangential inlet into an outer chamber where centrifugal separation of heavier solids takes place. The fluid is then directed into the inner chamber for filtration through the cartridge. The initial separation of solids extends cartridge life and lowers the overall cost of use. Housings are electropolished 304 stainless steel for excellent resistance to corrosion. Top closure is secured with wing nuts so that no tools are required for maintenance. The 2" NPT inlet and outlet fittings include 1/4" NPT(F) couplers for pressure gauge installation. A drain fitting allows for either manual or automatic purge of the outer chamber to remove separated solids.
   All sizes of housing accept a single, high-capacity cartridge that is easy to install. Unlike conventional cartridges, these feature deep, angled pleats that effectively concentrate flow into the pleated area for more efficient solids removal. Three types of cartridges are available.
   Pleated Polyester Cartridges are general purpose cartridges offering long life and high dirt holding capacity. Polyester cartridges are cleanable and reusable in most applications and are NSF 61 listed.
    Antimicrobial Cartridges are pleated polyester with interwoven silver zeolite fibers. The interwoven fibers ensure long-lasting protection against algae, odor-causing bacteria, mold, mildew, and biofilms that might otherwise grow on the cartridge surface.
    Pleated Polypropylene Cartridges are 100% polypropylene and offer high flow rates and low pressure drops. Ideal for applications requiring absolute-rated pleated filtration. Cartridge components are thermally bonded for high strength.
