1.Unpack instrument and inspect for shipping damage.

2.Verify that site cable connector pin outs are correct.

3.Verify AC power is correct - do NOT apply power, yet.

4.Remove the Inlet and Outlet protective caps and attach the

Purge filter to REMOTE Inlet nozzle.

5.Verify that vacuum source meets minimum requirements,

attach vacuum tubing to REMOTE and start vacuum flow.

When power is applied in Step 6, flow LED should turn ON

6.Apply power to instrument and verify that Power LED turns

ON.  Run the unit for fifteen minutes to warm up the LASER.

7. Check the Service LED - if it remains ON, proceed to Step 9.

8.Check data.  For the zero count test procedure, please refer to the Operating Manual.

9.For any failure, power OFF and contact Lighthouse Support.
